I was using Restorative Formulations Adrenal Px Balance that has rhodiola in it. I think I got headaches from it too, I ended up switching to Vital Nutrients Adrenal Support and had much better luck. I don't take either now since they are so expensive, but I think I was on them long enough to have some benefits and help my adrenals. Might be worth finding a supplement that has rhodiola in it.

Adrenotone, by Designs For Health contains rhodiola as well as the other big ones- ashwagandha, licorice, Eleuthero, etc. it’s very good.
I started on Thorne Phytisone, and when they got backed up (I believe due to a problem sourcing clean licorice) I was switched to Adrenotone. I can use them interchangeably.

My husband did Rhodiola. He took it for 2 months and did not find any improvement so he quit. He took it in the morning so it would not mess with his sleep.
But remember we are all our own guinea pigs and what doesn't work for one, might work for another.
Give it a try! then you will never wonder.
