Very low white blood count... from rifampin possibly??

Anyone else have low white count? Mine has gotten lower and lower since starting rifampin/minocycline combo. Now it's less than 3! I was planning on stopping both meds on 12/27 as I prepare to go to treatment at a clinic on 1/6. However.... now I'm thinking I should stop asap. Like maybe even tomorrow. But I'm scared to stop. I don't want to totally relapse as I need to be functional.

Has anyone else had low white counts from rifampin? I've read that both rifampin and minocycline can cause low white cell counts. And I'm on both.

The weird thing is that I've been feeling better and better. I've even been back to working out again. What should I do?? I feel like I'm aned if I do and darned if I don't.

Thats how I felt on rifampin... it raised my liver enzymes but I immediately relapsed and would get sick if I stopped. I wish I could offer advice. Maybe it's time to rethink your protocol and switch to something more natural

Prior to treatment my WBC was in the 4's.

After starting Lyme treatment they were mid to high 3's.

After starting Bart treatment they were often low 3's and at one point dipped down to 2.9 (Rifampin/Minocycline).

My reg Dr wasn't concerned, nor was my LLND.

Thank you! That makes me feel better. I just looked up the past results of my CBCs and there has been a significant downward trend since starting rifampin/minocycline. I'm sure it will normalize when I go off. I'm praying hyperthermia helps..... I really really really want to be done with meds!!!

Lymesick.... I just read about Heartland virus. I for sure don't have this because I respond very well to antibiotics. A virus, on the other hand, does not respond to antibiotics.
