Okay - Zhang used to (maybe still does?) have two products that were Artemisinin or Artesunate (can't remember which) and dihydroartemisinin. But he called them Artemisiae (I think 1 and 2)

Zhang Artemisiae and Artemisiae 2 are both the whole plant - Artemesia annua.

I could never see the difference in each of those products. They looked exactly alike to me. I never did try them.

Zhang Artemisia is Artesunate and the Zhang Artemisia 2 is dihydroartemisinin which is even stronger.

Both are the active constituents of the herb Artemisia.

i believe someone who sees Dr. Zhang said they did away with the dihydroartemisinin and went with double the dose of Artesunate. not sure when this happened and how you'd even verify what version you bought but either way both of these derivatives are much stronger/more potent than the others.

No - it's the one I'm thinking about. They may have changed it but take a look at the second link.

The Art 2 (second link) says it's double strength extract of Art - extract isn't whole herb.

"Double-strength extract of Artemesia annua, now the first choice worldwide for malaria treatment. Effective support when Babesiosis, which has malaria-like characteristics, is present."

That sounds like Dihydroartemisinin.

I have wondered about this - I thought the dihydroartemisinin was a prescription and yet Zhang was selling it as a supplement?
Anyone know about that?
My LLND had my Artesunate compounded at the pharmacy but Zhang had it as a supplement.

So the Artemisiae is Artesunate and the Artemisiae 2 is double dose Artesunate.
