Lyme Literate Dr for Kids and Adults in NJ / NY / CT/ PA

Hi. I'm new to this forum (last couple of months) and I have found it very helpful to read, thank you all.

I am looking for LLMDs for myself and my children in the general NYC Metro area. I live in Essex County NJ.

I was diagnosed with Lyme only (by Dr G in Basking Ridge, NJ) and was treated for a month on Doxy (ended Dec 22). Dr G drew more blood for labs at the end and hasn't got back to me yet regarding continuing treatment, however she did explain to me that the current advanced thought is that you cannot completely eliminate all lyme from the body due to Biofilms. I'm nervous about this and have already begun to review the Buhner protocol on my own.

I had my 11 year old tested (she showed signs of brain fog and anxiety and symptoms like blurred vision, headaches, random joint pain). She tested CDC negative with 1 IGM band (39) and 4 IGG bands (41, 58, 66 and 93). Dr G looked at the blood work and examined my daughter and said no, no lyme, and that because of her youth and immune system her test results would be 'alight with positive bands'. I still have concerns about her because of the lyme specific bands, as well as her recurrent symptoms (typical wax and wane it seems).

Lastly I just got positive results for my 7 year old daughter whose only symptoms were psychiatric - emotional outbursts, crying fits and not sure why and seriously negative thoughts about herself (I'm useless). She tested CDC positive from MDL with 2 IGM bands and 5 IGG bands.

I clearly need a LLMD for all 3 of us, and now I would really like to get my husband and son tested as well (neither showing any symptoms, but you never I just made not have noticed and they are both pretty tough people).

Can anyone help me with pinpointing to the right LLMD who will be willing and open to both antibiotics and herbals / supplements? I would like to try to be at one place for all of us (at least try). I'm open to driving to CT, to PA, to NYC, Southern NJ, but for starters wondering if there might be someone in my own back yard (Union County, Morris County, Essex County...).

PS my pediatrician asked me if I wanted a script for one month of amoxycillin - my 7 year old daughter has been 'different' emotionally for a while now (not only the last month, I would say since the summer, perhaps before). should I accept the antibiotic treatment for her while looking for an llmd?
