I managed to climb 30 of the state's 58 14,000' peaks with Lyme. My goal is to climb all of them. Really trying to live the metaphor of climbing mountains. :D
How is that even possible?!? I get winded walking to the mailbox. No joke!
However you do it, I'm happy that you're able to do so. Keep up the good work!
The DudeIt's very tough and I definitely notice it at the higher altitudes. But I refuse to let Lyme ruin my life so I'm out there pushing on with pure will power. I just need to get rid of this brain fog, fatigue, depersonalization/derealization and I will feel like I have my life back.Good for you, man! Until four years ago, I mountain biked, hiked, sprinted, did push-ups, pull-ups, kettlebells, etc. Unfortunately, that all went out the window. Whereas I could one perform 50 consecutive push-ups, I might be able to perform 1-2 on my knees. I miss the outdoors, moving my body, and working-up a sweat. Keep doing what you can, but be sure to also listen to your body! I'll be cheering you on, Maverick!
