yes, by "blind" I mean never fully developed. They a just raised, red, firm to the touch, very tender, and nothing to drain.
Very interesting term for it. I get these as well.
I get both traditional pimples and "blind" pimples.
I wish all of them were blind because the blind ones don't leave a blemish. Pimples do and even when they are "gone" the blemish is there for like a month after.
Also to echo what others have said, skin is also an organ (the largest if I'm not mistaken) and it's an organ that is part of the detoxing network of the body.
When I go through a period of "lyme puberty" I wash my face really well every night with facial cleanser and then I back off a little bit on herbs that boost the liver like milk thistle and choline. Too much detoxing is most likely causing the pimples.
A glass is half full look at this is, it's often said that the skin is the last layer of detoxing. So if lymies are having issues with pimples then it can mean the body is really doing a good job of getting toxin out of the body.
