Hi Hannah. I had my wisdom teeth extracted months ago and they have been healing slowly. Ive heard lyme and co like to concentrate there since it is a weak spot. I didn't experience the heat on the ear. I do have pain sometimes at the extraction sites. Does the site seem infected at all? Or are you running a fever? As it could possibly be infected. If not I'd say the lyme and co are taking advantage of the spot.

Sounds like the infection got into the bone. That can wear down your system and make it nearly impossible to beat lyme. You may consider seeing a biological dds.

FYI-Root canals often have festering infections that need to be addressed. many lyme docs tells patients to always remove root canals.

often time no- bone infection is missed all the time. Cavitat scan is good-sometime eav can find.
I think the key is to see a dds that actually finds infection as part of their business. Generally biological dds are way better
