Anyone have/had leaky gut?

Do your symptoms start soon after eating or do they take a while? I get dizzier soon after eating, does leaky gut exist in the stomach or just the intestines?

Its different for everyone since most with this will have individual food sensitivities to. Thats why the elimination diet helps fogure this out, then add foods back slowly. There are a few websites devoted to this.

Bloated is common, lethargy can happen too...........but dizzy? (not common as far as I know). Might be wise to check your BP and blood glucose.

I know that I get dizzy sometimes instantly sometimes a day later after eating gluten, eggs, or excessive fats. I don't know that I have leaky gut, but I have decided it's most likely what is bothering me since the gastro doc has ruled out everything else and I have many of the symptoms.

When I eat the wrong foods I instantly get dizziness, burning knees, confusion, head pressure, and a feeling similar to nausea.

Candida can make one feel drunk. This is goggle-able.

Dr Axe believes that the majority of people living have some degree of leaky gut. My family is on a regimen to repair this. Leaky gut has been linked to an array of physical and neurological disorders.

Thank the processed food industry for this, pesticides cant help to much either probably.

I get dizzy after eating. When I wake up empty gut my mind is clear. and after eating first thing in the day in ~30 min brain gets dizzy. I have leaky gut, it was severe in the past, mild to moderate now.

I was thinking the other day after speaking with my LLMD, (a dangerous thing for me to do right now....thinking) that the earth's atmosphere is much like the human body environment. We add in antibiotics, and it throws all kinds of things out of balance. With our modern age, this is pretty much what is happening. The earth needs a huge, healthy dose of pro-Bs right about now. LOL

I just read that Genova Lab has a comprehensive stool test that tests for zonulin in which is helpful for Dx leaky gut. It would also identify pathogenic bacteria and candida in the gut. This would help proceeding with treatmen I think. smile

Hoagie- These food chemicals cant hide anymore.

There are some pre-sliced luncheon turkey, chicken, beef roast, now with celery nitrates and no other chemicals (no pink slury) which are safer than deli meat! - walmart even has these now, and dont cost much more at that place.

Read the label off the deli "roasts" sometime, which they are slicing from. People are miss-informed assuming deli meat is healthier.............wrong, they can be worse for you. Its just a processed roast they slice from.

I have this. For me it's histamine sensitivity. I also had a klebsiella overgrowth which produces histamine so i believe thats a factor. Pathogenic bacteria fermenting food can also cause weird neurological things

What have you tried for histamine? Ketotifen?

My son had an overgrowth if klebseilla and entrobacter clocae. Dr. Ordered Bactrim for 10 days. His GI pain is much improved.
