Anyone using collegen?

I bought the Great Lakes Collagen and took about 1 Tbsp .


I only took it for a few weeks though.

I think the dose should be higher than what I was taking. I think on the can it said 2 Tbsp is a serving.

I didn’t take it for Neuro symptoms either - I was trying to replenish the collagen that was depleted from LD

(Face, backs of hands in particular )

I take it, but not with Neuro symptoms in mind ( although if it helps them I’ll be happy)

I take it for my joints & colllagen loss from Ld but started taking it because I have a connective tissue disorder. Can’t say for sure if it helps with those things , but maybe I’d be worse off if I didn’t take it.

Other benefits I’ve noticed are that it’s soothing to my gut & a actually got my hair to start growing again - after having not grown at all for 7 years. I also think it helps my skin.

I use vital proteins now, but Great Lakes before. I take 2 scoops /2x a day ( sometimes I only manage once a day though) . I’m not sure how much is in a scoop though.

I was taking it for a while in the early days of my lyme diagnosis - it helped a little with joint pain. I wasn't taking it for neuro. I forget why I stopped taking it.
