How often do you see your LLMD?

Mine wants to see me once a month, I feel he is milking it.

Usually once a month. I did just go 2 months apart for one time though.

I used to dread paying so much at my original llmd($ 340 per appt.), now I just pay 20 dollars co pay, mine also didn't charge a high first time appt fee, just regular co pay. I am fortunate she takes my insurance.

I wish I could find an in network doctor to prescribe my Doxy. paying 350 / month for prescriptions is somewhat excessive.

I was in Chile a few months back, and in the southern part of the country, I was able to buy Ceftin, no questions asked, over the counter!

I should have bought some doxy..

I used to go once a month in the beginning when things were progressing and herxing quickly. Now I have to take it so slow as I’ve become more sensitive to abx - often one month isn’t enough time to work up to the full protocol I’ve been prescribed.
If your LLMD is very busy, I recommend booking two appointments out, once every 4-6 weeks, so you know you can be seen. My current LLMD is pretty open so I just schedule whenever I feel it’s time to move on, and am able to get appts within a week or two. I go every 2-3 months

thanks for the responses. Tickbite, that seems reasonable to me. if there are serious issues or on IV I can see regular visits, but I would think they could be spaced out when things are going well and we are just on a long term therapy.

I am going to visit another doctor I saw once in Dallas a second time to get a better opinion of him, and I'll ask that question. For me, maybe it's time to switch.

Every 3 months too
