Hi astroman,
From all my research one can never get rid of "all" BB lyme bacteria, it's totally impossible. Lyme bacteria hide in places where abx, herbals, etc. can not reach.
you are totally wrong.
Hepatitis C was considered incurable until 3 years ago. even people who partially recovered with treatment, still had the virus within the cells. A very similar situation like us with lyme, treated but still positive. Read below, true story:
"Tom Limes was a desperate man in 2013. Hepatitis C had scarred his liver so badly, he needed a transplant. If he didn't get one, he would die.
But then in June, the phone rang.
It was a doctor from the University of Colorado asking if he wanted to join a study on a new hep C treatment called sofosbuvir (Sovaldi).
Limes, of Aurora, CO, was a perfect candidate. He had the right type of the virus (genotype 2), the amount of it in his blood (his viral load, as doctors call it) was off the charts, and previous treatment with interferon injections and a pill called ribavirin didn’t help.
If he accepted a spot in the trial, Limes would take sofosbuvir and ribavirin pills for 12 weeks, in addition to weekly interferon shots. The hope was that he’d be cured quickly.
Limes jumped at the chance.
“It was either that or die,” he says.
Just 4 weeks later, the hepatitis C he had lived with for decades was completely gone./www.webmd.com/hepatitis/features/hep-c-curePlease remember this. Your disease is fully curable, it is clear in 99% cases lyme bacteria is still present and driving all disease. There was a flurry of research papers published only this year.
The idea the damage is present but bacteria is gone is false. We all have good days and bad days. If you have irreversible organ damage then how come u have good days when u feel almost normal ?!
There are a few organs that can have irreversible damage and that includes heart. The rest are reversible.
The problem with lyme disease is one single problem: $20m research budget for a disease that affects at least 300,000 people per year leaving at least 60000 people per year forever sick... It's stupid. Do not confuse this with HIV/AIDS in terms of difficulty to treat. This is a large bug with complicated life, involving multiple animals. It has lots of vulnerabilities.
But again... $20m search budget per year ...
