hello,

I started samento+banderol 3 weeks ago after 2 weeks doxy 200 (not works...but herxs) and 3 weeks rocephin (1 g the first week and 2g the second week). all these treatments increased my symptoms but without any improvement... I'm discouraged...yesterday, very bad reaction with samento and banderol ( tingles in my head and like a fugace electric shock ... squint a lot with 5 drops of banderol and samento twice a day). today, I take only half oh this dosage. Must i go on this treatment ?perhaps i do not support this protocol (furthemore i take levothyrox so I'm afraid , risk of interaction ?) i'm a little deseparate in fact...

hi mary - sorry you're having a rough time with treatment.

You've only been treating for about 5 weeks?

If so, it's not unusual for there not to be improvements...it can and often does take longer than that, unfortunately.

You can call your pharmacist and ask if the meds you are taking are fine together.
You can also put them in a drug interaction checker as well, here's the one I use:

Are you seeing a lyme literate Dr.?

hi,

yes it's hard and my health doesn't improve itself for the moment... worse than before I say...Only 5 weeks and at a low dosage yes.. I live in France and doctors are reluctant to prescribe antibiotics for a long time...it is hard to find a lyme doctor in France...
Furthemore, I have the impression not to support samento+cumanda (like burn in my head) so...

I was prescribed these 2 but there is really no literature on banadrol so stopped. I had a nuerological herx on samento for sure . Samento is cats claw to a free and there is literature on that. Just my two cents. Always happy to provide sources if need be.

I have 3 or 4 Docs in France (Paris, Cannes...and a couple others) plus one in Belgium if you're able to travel.

I don't have a lot of information/reviews...but may be worth a try.

thanks for your responses. I stopped yesterday samento and cumanda. I think I don't tolerate it... not in form today...
I must see my lyme doctor the next week but if I see she refused to pursue antibiotic treatment (just doxy by 200 2 weeks and rocephin 3 weeks , 2 weeks 1g and one week 1g), I think it's not enough and perhaps the reason I feel worse since... parharps I will try to change doctor. Someone says me to try colloidal argent ? do you know this treatment ? thanks

I started artemesia annua for my lyme : who try this herb ? I take the maximum dosage indicated on paquet ( 1,5 g in 3 takes ).. which plant can I associate with artemesia for more efficiency ?
