I feel pretty darn good until I go to actually exert myself, then I get worn out quickly and just can't function long. I only have the diagnosis of Lyme and I don't have a Dr that will even look at the other stuff. My Dr refers me back to the ID Dr that said that I was healed because I had 3 weeks of antibiotics and that any further problems was caused by the damage that Lyme had already done to my body and not a current issue.
My symptoms are fairly mild, except the heart flutter and nausea, but I have,
Heart flutter: this is why I think babesia... I took wormwood on a whim and it nearly stopped my flutter. I forgot why I was taking it and stopped and the flutter came back with a vengeance. I'm now back on wormwood and my heart only flutters a couple of times a day now. Does wormwood help heart problems caused by other co-infections?
Nausea: I'll have a month of nausea and then feel better for a week or two but I'm in a downswing so my diet is so restricted right now that it's crazy... I can pretty much tolerate meat, potatoes, and fruit... Veggies make me so sick. I miss my veggies!!! Eventually it disappears and I wake up one morning and can eat my veggies again. I crave breads and processed foods but try to resist.
Headaches: not often but when I have them it's like three days of consistent pain.
Night sweats: again sporadically
Brain fog: sporadically at this point... I'll be doing good and then all of a sudden I have it again and start losing my words.
Hard time focussing when driving: Probably goes along with brain fog... But I just have a hard time focussing... I kind of feel like I'm in lala land when I'm driving. (The only other time I get this is when I'm trying to focus to write on the computer, like this. I don't get it when I write on paper... But I probably don't put as much effort into that either so...) I can focus to read, focus to cook, etc. but when I'm driving I feel loopy. (Obviously I only drive when ABSOLUTELY necessary because of this.)
Shortness of breath: this is MUCH better after being on Jernigan's Anti-tox Cardio. Before starting Anti-tox I couldn't walk from my couch to the bedroom and back without needing to take 30 mins to catch my breath. ~Immediately~ after starting Anti-tox I felt 90% better. But I still get out of breath pretty easily and can't seem to build my body up from it.
No umph: I'm just tired all the time. I don't have to take 4 hour naps, or naps at all, anymore but I just don't have a lot of energy and can't do anything for long.
Balance: Mostly a problem when I've overdone it... If I've used all my umph and pushed through I start staggering around like I'm drunk.
Anyways... Any thoughts? Ideas? Does that sound like babesia? Or should I be looking somewhere else? I've only been on Traveler's CT for a bit over a week now so I'm not necessarily looking to start immediately but I'm trying to get information now so that I can figure out my next move. (See, right there it took me a minute to remember the word "move".
) The heart flutter in particular really freaks me out... The wormwood is helping the symptom but I don't feel like it's doing enough to actually kill whatever... So I need a plan! I'm thinking to start CSA if it does sound like Babesia... Anyways... Any input appreciated! TIA!
