For anyone interested in the Chronic Lyme Disease Summit 3, you have less than 24 hours to watch (or, download) the replay of all 37 interviews.

At 12:21 PM EDT today, I received the following automated e-mail:

"I have heard from many listeners who were not able to view the summit talks on the first few days as we experienced a MASSIVE server overload! Since there may be some talks you missed out on listening to, I wanted to go ahead and extend the FULL replay day another 24 hours so that you have a chance to listen again!"

I was going to give a direct download link to the replay page, but it only works if you've registered your name and e-mail address. Then, you will get an automated e-mail with the link to the replay page.

Hi Dude. I haven't been impressed with the Summit this year. Not a whole lot of new info. Plus, I prefer the straight audio and was having issues with many of the videos. What did you think?

Also, so many of them are selling their own products/services which bothers me. I did enjoy Klinghardt (his approach resonates with me). Horowitz had nothing new. I would prefer some interviews with researchers so we know what they are working on. I haven't listened to any of the ones from the last few days so if there was a good one let me know!

I share your sentiments, regarding some of the same topics/materials being shared and these Summits being an avenue for the authors to sell their products and services.

In fact, I debated about mentioning it. But, since there have been a lot of new visitors to the forum, I thought perhaps the videos might be helpful to someone. I figured if only one person is helped, then it was worth it. But, for many "veterans" of the forum, there may not be much value.

As for which interviews might be worth watching, I haven't watched any of them. Yesterday, when I was notified that it was "Replay Day" for all 37 interviews, I downloaded them all, for possible future viewing. Or, I can convert the video into an audio-only file and copy to my iPod for listening, like you mentioned.

I think I have an unhealthy addiction to health summits. smile Currently, the "Keto Edge Summit" is in progress. So, while I have no immediate plans to start a Ketogenic diet, each day of the Summit, I download the audio and video files for that day.

The Summit I really need is: "The 12-Steps to Breaking Your Addiction to Health Summits Summit."

I prefer audio also. I have not had success trying to download or convert to audio-only; haven't had enough brain for quite some time. Dude, thanks for sharing.

I love to make others laugh (I used to like to laugh, too, before all the health issues) AND I like to write. I think I'd like to have a blog or podcast that involved humor.

Recently, I heard the quote: "People will pay more to be entertained than educated." But, I can't recall where I heard it. Google says the quote is attributed to Johnny Carson. But, I think I heard it from another comedian (possibly George Carlin) that said it, but giving credit to Carson for the advice.

With you in mind, I scrounged-around and found links to all the videos. (As of this writing, only one of the videos no longer works, due to its privacy settings.)

So, if you look above, in the second post from the top, you'll now see all the links. If you wish to download the video or only the audio portion, you can use any of the free resources found online.

Here's one, if you would like a suggestion: /www.clipconverter.cc

Copy the video's address, paste in into the "Video URL to Download:" box on the ClipConverter page, and then click "Continue."

If you want to download the video, simply click "Start."

However...

If you want ONLY THE AUDIO, before clicking "Start," you will first want to click "MP3." THEN, click "Start." The program will start converting the video and will take some time.

Once it's finished, simply click "Download."

The instructions for using ClipConverter are on the main page of the site.

Good luck, should you choose to use this information.

I plan on being scarce on this site, so if you have troubles, others will likely be able to help. Or, consult your nearest 13-year-old.

I'm sorry to hear you are stepping away and wish you joy and healing. This has been a particularly rough year and your response to LivingForHope was a ray of light to me as well as many others. I am grateful for your generosity and insight (and forbearance with my struggles to convert to audio), and second the motion for a podcast or blog!


"Make a list of the people and things you love and meditate on them. Nothing is too small. Think of your friends and family members that love you, too. Add them to your list. Consider the things you will do, once you're feeling better. Make some goals - nothing crazy, keep it reasonable and attainable. Consider any things you may have previously ignored or took for granted - what will you do different?"

I will definitely have to save these valuable instructions for downloading. I believe you've given them before, but I never tried it.

I rarely get on the computer and use my phone instead. I'm technically challenged and have no 13 year old to assist me.

I agree with the others. You certainly have a gift for writing and making people feel good. See how we gravitate to you turn

You'll find a way. When you do, I hope we'll be among the first know.
