Mother's day: Worst herx yet.

I traveled for mother's day. 4.5 hours riding in the car one way.

I traveled on Friday and I may not be traveling back Tuesday, but maybe instead of traveling back Tuesday, I may just travel a week from Sunday due to severe herxing.

Only Change: I stopped my benzos and ssris.

I expirence many symptoms of Lyme- almost everyone. But the most overpowering one is weird and scary.

I've experienced it before, but not as much in one day.

Sudden tingling takes over body, then pain: then a warm feeling comes in. Almost like I'm vibrating so fast that I can't maintain muscle control. I get Shakey, or jittery. Can not stand feeling. Then dizzy, like my spirit is being ripped from my body. Anyone know what this might be? I always mainage to grab my weed before it gets bad. I'm afraid to-not medicate at this time.

Sounds like it could be some kind of seizure episode. I know some have had seizures. I have not.

Have you described these episodes to your LLMD?

I am being treated by a natropath, but yes. I've also have had seizures in the past. They said to take a break from medican until the herx lessons.

I'm going to switch the lead of my Lyme treatment doc, to another one that takes insurance.

Egh... Treatment and diagnosis stink

You dont think it could be withdrawal from the benzos? Ive had a siezure but nothing like this

Today was terrible. I awoke in pain and confusion, along with the worst case of brain fog ever!! Today I managed to avoid seizures.

Bit I made it through the day. I think I had a ton of absence seizures.

I have no idea if it is the withdrawal. I've been slowly trying to get off of the stuff.

I'm a very late dessimated case, so, it could be that too. The benzos and ssris have maybe been preventing seizures from herxing also?

When was the last time you changed your antimicrobial regimen? If this was you're "only change" I hate to inform you but that's a pretty serious change. Both benzos and ssri's have serious withdrawals. Not all suffering is herxheimers. Be careful. SSRI's aren't something you just "take a break" from. Getting on and off is a serious decision. I'm confused as to why this was recommended to you when you're already dealing with the difficulties of treatment. I mean there's nothing wrong with quitting. It's just a difficult process you have to be prepared for. I can't say for sure whether this is the basis of your issues but those kinds of neurological symptoms as well as seizures are common withdrawal type symptoms.
