Liver/Gallbladder Flush: Anyone on board?

Okay...after the holidays, I'm going to do some serious detoxing. This includes a liver/gallbladder flush. I no longer have a gallbladder (thanks to Lyme Disease) but I still have a liver that is begging to be cleaned.

I just thought I would put it out there and see if anyone is interested in joining me. I'm thinking the second week of January. I've done it once before, and it's NOT THAT BAD! REALLY!

Anyway, I've had a good productive weekend and feel I'm 90% ready for Christmas. Hope you all had a good weekend!

Awesome!!! I'll try to find a good link for the directions on the flush. There are plenty of them. I'll take a look around and post the link here when I find a good one.

Before I had my gallbladder removed, I did a flush and I was fine. HOWEVER....my GI warned me that a stone could get stuck and you could wind up in the ER with needing surgery....

I had multiple stones (don't know how many...they just said multiple). I never had a full blown attack...didn't even have pain. Mine was causing me terrible fullness/bloating and acid reflux. Oh...it was HORRIBLE!!! Then, towards the end before I finally got it taken out...I started have hints of gallbladder attacks....like really quick pains. I refused to take it out for a long time but in the end...I'm so glad I did.

But...Yes, this is the Olive oil flush that I did. We will just need to agree on a good day to do it because you will need to be home around the bathroom on the day that you do it.

Have you had a hyda test (can't remember if that is what it's called) to see how well your gallbladder is contracting? I had that done too and mine was at I think 18% or something like that which was low.

Well...I'm going to get into my sauna now.

I did a liver/gallbladder flush 2 times last year per my ND's recommendation. It was the olive oil/lemon one. I had to drink apple cider vinegar after each meal for a week prior to "prepare" my body.

It wasn't too bad, but yes, you need to be home the next day!

Traveler.....I do not have a gb either....I think i've read that it's even more important for us to do them but I could be wrong...? Is that true?

Also, good to hear about the coffee enema....I have never done one but I'm glad you mentioned about that and not doing one if you don't have a GB.

Yazzer, the purpose of doing a coffee enema is to clean the small and large intestine, helping clean the colon walls.

A common contributor to ill health is the production and absorption of toxins within the small and large intestines.

If food is not digested properly, sugars ferment and protein putrefies or rots.

This is not my opinion but the research and findings of many doctors.

DJ - yes, that is the GB flush I was thinking of - I had seen that before - there are other variations upon the same theme as well.

But, without getting to graphic (LOL), I don't see how a coffee enema can possibly clean the small and large intestines though. The delivery of the coffee through the "back door" as it were (yuck) only gets into the internal sigmoidal and rectal areas (to clean the entire large intestine, you'd need a full-blown colonic). There, it stimulates the blood vessels which cause a reaction by the liver/gall bladder to excrete bile that has accumulated toxins - toxins which could be reabsorbed and recirculated into the body. The coffee enema excretes them through this process for immediate expulsion from the body. Plus it causes the liver to increase glutathione production by 600-700%! Is somebody going to post all the instructions on what we need to get and do ahead of time? I want to do it too.

I read where we should do a parasite cleanse and a kidney cleanse before doing a liver cleanse. Is that true?
I already did/am doing parasite cleanse anyway-just wondered.

I hopel there will be a BIG POST with intructions? How long does it take to do? How many days?

Hello everyone!

I’m a couple days away from starting the flush portion of Dr. Hulda Clark’s Gallbladder & Liver Cleanse/Flush. I’m curious if it’s safe to do if my Liver ALT enzymes are elevated? Also, I’m doing this cleanse/flush to clear out junk and possibly dead parasites from a previous 6 week home parasite cleanse. I still have living intestinal parasites and have read that I should NOT do this cleanse if I have parasites but I have also read that I should do this cleanse/flush if I have parasites. I’m unsure what to do??!

Thanks Denise, unfortunately, the only thing my LLMD said in reply to me communicating I’m going to do this cleanse was that he and his family did it before. He never likes to provide much information for I feel he is afraid to get suid in the event something happens. I’ve heard he was suid in the past. Not sure what to do next?
