Looking for a new LLMD in pa or any state surrounding pa.

Looking for a llmd anywhere in pa or surrounding states that know the correct use for antibiotics to treat lyme. Not comfortable with my current llmd.

Hi Nellie, I live in Pa also, not sure where u live though...I use a doctor M in Exton. She’s really good & super nice- even though I’m like a nightmare patient! Girlie has her name & info , she’s the one who gave it to me.

Af first I went back & forth on how I felt about her, mainly because she calls herself integrative but insisted upon antibiotics for me despite my not wanting to use them, but I do think she’s got a good grasp of proper antibiotic use. To be honest, I’ve refused or not tolerated a lot of the things she’s prescribed or wanted to, but she always listens to me & figures something else out.

She also insisted on seeing me ALOT in the beginning, and I still see her monthly now. At first I questioned how frequently she wanted to see me, cause it’s expensive & it’s hard for me to get out to appointments all the time, in retrospect I think she is just really concerned with patient care & was worried about the severity of my my symptoms etc. I don’t know if she sees everybody that often or if it’s just certain patients.

I think she’s quite intelligent & a very good doc, I just tend to lean more towards natural stuff if possible. I also have a major distrust of doctors in general, so I’m pretty hard on them! So for me to actually LIKE a doctor is pretty amazing!

Another great thing about her is that she’ll make the time to see you quickly. The first Llmd I tried to go to had an insanely long waiting list- I forget now if it was 6 months or ayear.. but it was way to long to wait.
But Dr.M got me in super fast & told me she’s happy to work late or otherwise change her schedule -whatever it takes to see you in a timely fashion. She’s even switched her lunch time for me so I can have a certain time appointment that suits me.

I do use a ND in Morgantown, who helps a LOT too- hard to know what’s doing what since im doing both. if nothing else the 2 compliment each other well.

Anyway, if you’re near her at all I definitely think she’s a good one. Hope u find someone good soon!

What tests did she use to diagnose you?

What part of PA are you in? If you're in the southeast, you're not that far from DC and there are a few good ones in the DC area

Casa, who is your ND in Morgantown? Does this doctor have experience treating lyme & co? I'm not too far from Morgantown & prefer to go all natural. I treat myself using Buhner's protocols, but I always like to know of back-up resources in my area in case I need consultation.
