Having been on treatment for 5 months, I decided to get updated bloodwork done. I did not expect the Western Blot or IgG/IgM results to change much, and I once again tested negative for lyme, babesia, and bartonella. What did change, however, are my Albumin and Globumin levels and A/G ratio, as well as my Creatinine levels.
Prior to treatment, my Albumin was at 4.4, but now on the medication it has gone up to 5.2 and has brought my A/G ratio up along with it to 2.3, which was flagged as high.
My Creatinine levels prior to treatment were at 0.84 but has now dropped to 0.65, which was flagged as low. Although my diet has changed and I was somewhat dehydrated at the time of testing, which I know can affect the results of those tests, I still fear that these changes could be signs of kidney or liver dysfunction. My mother, as a phlebotomist and lab technician, percieved this as unusual and potentially serious, while my LLND did not even address it in her report and regards my results as normal.
Are such changes in A/G and Creatinine typical with antibiotics/anti-protozoals or even dietary changes? Or should I be concerned about something more serious?
