You got to kill biofilm...

biofilm is the covering the lyme bacteria use to hide and protect themselves - and have live and reproduce yada yada

if your not using something like cellular silver than I they bacteria can just hide in biofilm

the biofilm has to be destroyed


for me silver is very effective - i can feel my personality come back when using silver more

Hi, what type, strength and so forth do you use? Do you use multiple delivery systems like nasal spray.

I don't take the silver, my LLMD has his patients taking xylitol and lactoferrin for biofilms.

Some LLMD's prescribe tinidazole for both biofilms (and cysts).


Serrapeptase, lumbrokinase used to be popular for biofilm treatment.

Stevia is another one.

Quick question about stevia. I had herx from a supplement before, feeling sick, exhaustion a sick under the weather feeling.

Stevia felt like a full flare the big issues were headaches and increased body pain. The flare feeling continued a good week after stopping it. Could this not a flare but Herx. I was not medicinally using it. It was the sweetner in drinks.

Doesn't Flagyl abx breakdown bio-films?

- then doxy (when taken simultaneously with Flagyl) kills the lyme bacteria.

Many non lymies get instant gut issues from Stevia. This is goggle able. So, it might not be a herx.

Flagyl is prescribed for cyst form.

Biofilms are different.

You’d think though that whatever works on cysts would also work on biofilms...

You'd probably have to kill biofilms for co infections too then don't you..

I don't know if the co's have biofilms. At this point only lyme biofilms are treated.

Maybe the same treatment would break through all biofilms.

Enzymes are very beneficial for breaking down biofilm.

I have upped my dosage of amalase, d nase, serrapeptase (which is the enzyme used by caterpillars to dissolve their cocoon. Other digestive enzymes come from ox bile and carnivorous plants.

High amount of vitamin c, apple cider vinegar, and double dose enzymes 3xper day definite moves things out of the system. A good walk is reccomended to move any stagnation or herx.

i recommend trying silver spray if you just cant seem to get your personality back - the silver spray may work wonders - hold under tongue for a bit is good and swish around in mouth

Honestly I have never really taken biofilm busters... Xylitol killed my stomach and I just never tried serrapeptase even though I have some. I probably will start that at some point. I just feel like over the years I have been so loaded with other things that I need to get started on I've always just pushed this part out.

However.... one other reason is that I was taking buhner herbs and buhner states in his book that the core protocol takes care of biofilms... does anyone agree or disagree with this?

Nich - I know Buhner downplays the biofilm busting...


I am on the fence about them. I have never noticed anything when adding the biofilm busters - first I did Serrapeptase... and now xylitol/lactoferrin.


But, since they haven't affected me adversely, I continue to take them...just in case they're doing 'something'.

i dont react to stevia well as well i wonder if it works?? hmm

I would agree with what Girlie said about biofilms from different bacteria being 'busted' by the same herbs. In theory - they absolutely should. I'm not sure if biofilm applies to everyone. For me I was feeling pretty good then added in an herbal biofilm 'buster' towards the end of treatment and felt like I got hit by a truck. (That was Wobenzym N which has since been reformulated). I can't attest to it 100% but for me I would have added it in. I had lyme for approx. 5 yrs prior to treatment so prior duration before treatment could matter. Stevia has been shown to be effective in killing lyme but there are a lot of reports on adverse affects in general from it, especially those that suffer from seasonal allergies.
