A variation of my original question but I’ll simplify it. Just a last check. Only Lyme test was EAI (immunoassay antibodies)
1. Right now I’m looking at igenex running western blot 188 & 189. Coinfections testing CP3. Anyone familiar with the codes am I missing anything. CD57 isn’t paid for so not testing.
2. Is igenex recommended? If not who is.
I understand this is not a 100% accurate test. Labcorp never ran the western blot requested by my dr. I did research on this. Labcorp changes a dr western block request to EAI w reflex. From what I understand if the antibodies are not present no western blot is ran.
I just want to make sure I get it right. I have to see if my hospital will draw the blood. I appreciate all the help.
Yes the Lyme WB 188 and 189 is good
What tests are in the CP3?
Yes Igenex is a good lab - one of the best and accepted by LLMD’s.
I had the same thing happen with my first test - the WB wasn’t done because the initial screening test was negative.
