Serrapeptase vs Nattokinase

Wondering if anyone could tell me if they have tried Serrapeptase and what their experience was with it and also what is the difference between them. Thanks

I use Serrapetase regularly and occasionally rotate to the higher cost Lumbrokinase. I think Nattokinase is rated at the lower end of these three digestive enzymes used to break up biofilms.

These are fibrin busters and blood thinner, one is from a silk worm the Sara one and natto is from food from Japan. Both are very safe unless you are on blood thinners already or you take vitamin e, fish oil, aspirin, or garlic, honey, and several other things that thin blood. Research it and use caution but 90 percent of us have thick blood, no such thing really it means eith fibrin is too high to platetes sticky all thick blood means. What are you using it for?

Want to start taking because I am hoping it will help with fatigue and breathing and the way my arms and legs fall asleep easily..I am wondering if it will improve my breathing as a few years back I had all kinds of heart testing and I had to be injected with something to increase my heart rate and it was strange afterward my breathing was so much better and I felt really really good. I mentioned this to the nurse and she said many of the patients there with breathing issues say that.. so I think I should give it a shot but not sure which form.

I have been using Doctor's Best brand Serrapeptase hi-potency 120,000 SPU Cap once a day on empty stomach in am.


Here's a factoid I filed away many years ago. My previous post was not quite accurate:

"According to David Berg from AZ Coagulation Consultants and former director of Esoterix lab, tests of biofilm busting properties of the various enzymes show serrapeptase reduces biofilm communities by 70%, nattokinase by 75% and lumbro by 95%."

Those are some impressive stats, especially for Lumbrokinase.

I wonder how these enzymes compare with other biofilm disruptors like monolaurin, NAC, oil of oregano, allicin, etc.

sorry for delay. When I started taking it in Feb 2014 I was on a good upswing after four years into ABX treatment and noticed no ill effects. It's one of my many supplements that I can't tell if it is really doing anything, but continue anyway due to such strong recommendations by many.

I’ve also read that lumbro is the best - more than once.

And empty stomach is crucial - otherwise it is a digestive enzyme. Maybe I already said that.. lol..I’m posting on my phone and not reading thru the entire thread

And two more: xylitol paired with lactoferrn - I heard an interview where dr j says he’s seen results when those.
That’s what I’ve bern using for a couple years now
