IV treatment for Lyme in WA

I've looked in quite a few places and I'm having troubles finding doctors that treat with IV in Washington. If any of you know some could you shoot me a private message as I'd like to go down the IV route. Thank you all fro your help

You find a LLMD that'll prescribe you IVs, make sure you pair it up with an effective cyst/biofilm buster like tindamax or flagyl oral antibiotics, along with stevia or xylitol. It'll Definitely increase the effectiveness of Ceftriaxone(Rocephin)...

IVs are great due to penetration and absorption to the body, however you'll end up hitting a plateau eventually, add a cyst/biofilm buster to increase effectiveness.

I will look into it... first I need to find one that prescribes IV, though! sad and just by the way, I live in Washington state, not BC

Lowe, just curious. What makes you want to go the IV route?

I’m in WA and have to see a dr in the Bay Area for IV antibiotics. Most llmd s up here are going to want to treat more conservatively/use natural methods. I tried that route, but needed the IV meds. I’ve had my PICC line for over a year now. Sigh.

Opu, I don't see myself going forward with treatment specifically in my brain. I'm growing more depressed and emotional malaise by the day, and while other symptoms have subsided or calmed down, my memory and emotional well-being is worse than ever.

M. Lowe - I checked my list for WA and I do have a LLMD listed but I don't know if he does IV abx.

I'm thinking since LLMD MR shut his practice due to threat of losing his license...that things are going to be a bit 'under cover' for awhile.


You probably need to travel for IV abx.

Does your LLMD make the decision...or is he/she willing to do the IV abx if you request them? (even if he/she thinks you don't need them)

...and do you have a Nurse come to your home?

Oh I didn’t just march in and demand IVs, I treated with orals for quite a while, then added injectables, only after that did I add in IV. I still take stuff by mouth, have been on a mix of pharmaceuticals and herbals. My sig is way out of date. Currently on IV flagyl and IV azithromycin, plaquenil and Primaquine plus shark liver oil, and a bunch of other supps.
I trust my dr and so far every call she’s made has brought me closer to remission. It’s a long long process though!

Also I have home health care, so each week a nurse comes to my house to do dressing changes and draw labs. Insurance covers the nurse and the IV supplies and meds, not the labs though.

Don't get too upset by that. I definitely feel each person should trust their gut partly with treatment decisions. I can tell you I have almost no memories for about 1.5 years when I was in treatment. I mean my memory was bad and it is patched for a few years prior. It stinks. It took awhile for my memory to return and heal.

Also both my cardiologist and llmd were pushing for me to do IV. I didn't want to and it turns out I didn't need it. But I hit from all types of stuff at that point.
