Question about dental treatment

Hi,

I am currently on this protocol, on it for 45 days, not sure for how long though:

Atovaquone: 3 tablets morning, 3 evening
Primaquine: 1 tablet morning
Clarithromycin: 1 tablet morning, 1 evening
Eremfat/Rifampin: 2 tablets evening
Pyrazinamid: 1 tablet morning, 2 evening
Tinidazol: 1 tablet morning, 1 evening (16 days on/14 days off)

I will do a gum operation October 11th and my dentist have asked me to do 10-14 days of 500mg amoxicillin before and after operation.

If I'm on my current protocol by then, will it be necessary to do amoxicillin?

If I'm not, or only herbs, will it make my Lyme and co worse?

I would ask the dentist -

Different antibiotics are used for different infections. (I don't know - but maybe amoxy is better for gum infections?)

I just had 2 wisdom teeth pulled a couple weeks ago and they wanted to put me on the same dose of amoxicillin. When i told him i was on clarothromycin and rifabutin he said the rifabutin is more specific but clarithromycin is strong and would cover anything amoxicillin would touch. Plus RJD is on all the other med.s, too. Certainly ask the dentist if you're unsure but i would think you're covered

If you're not on anything broad spectrum at the time then maybe it's a good idea. You're just on a pretty extensive cocktail at the time
