Should Lyme or Mycoplasma be treated first? From most things I read, if lyme is treated and healthy immune system, your body should be able to fight off mycoplasma. So whether I am doing antibiotics or herbs, should I be able to just treat for lyme disease, assuming immune deficiencies are not an issue?

My former LL Dr. said mycoplasma was taken care of when treating lyme.

(macrolide plus tetracycline are often used)

Ive heard that tetracyclines are effective for mycoplasma. Buhner also has an in depth protocol

1st it 100%depends on WHICH mycoplasma strain, AND whether or not you have reactivation of HHV6. My LLND gave me U.V.B.I. to drive down the viral load that which acts as the ammunition for mycoplasmas. I'll paraphrase that last bit...viruses are ammo for mycoplasmas.....

I was on a strong lyme herbal tincture while doing U.V.B.I, so I suppose i was hitting all 3 at once. The NAC also worked well on the mycoplasma P.

That was 4 years ago> Im now on Alinia w/hopes to eradicate borrellia flagella, & doxy for ehrliciosis.

Borrelia flagella?
Isn’t that just the “tail” of the spirochete?
