Hello! Since this January I have been suffering from symptoms that resemble Lyme. I went to a clinic in January and was diagnosed with the flu based on my symptoms (primarily headache, dizziness, weakness in legs, joint pains, but the clinic was out of flu tests, but they treated me with Tamiflu anyway). After about a week my legs felt a little better, but I still had dizziness and headaches and horrible pain in my neck and shoulders which is unusual for me as an athlete. Months progressed and so did my symptoms, seeing a chiropractor helps with the headaches and dizziness, but I began suffering from air hunger and more leg weakness, sometimes to the point of being bed-ridden. My endurance began dropping,
And I now struggle just to breathe getting up the stairs. My difficulty breathing caused panic attacks, something I had never experienced before. I have numbness in my legs, feet, and face. When I got a tattoo in April, my legs went numb so fast that I collapsed. I have been for over 50 appointments with doctors and testing and scans. All that was found was a slipped disk in my back, and they are saying this is the cause of all my symptoms, even though it doesn’t explain 90% of them. My primary did a western blot and it came back with only band 58 reactive. I ordered an Igenx test kit, but haven’t gotten a doc who will sign off on it yet. Does it sound like I should be seeing a LLMD?
