I've posted a couple of times about
my experience- in a nutshell, I started having widespread, seemingly unrelated symptoms (lump in throat/hiccups-possibly acid reflux related, leg heaviness, muscle and nerve pain that moved around, ear pain, etc). I tested negative for Lyme but was given the antibiotic anyway- 21 days, then one extra week because I saw improvements. I finished the antibiotic on October 3rd. I still had some lingering muscle/nerve pain for a few weeks.
Last Monday (the 22nd), I had a very good day. This was followed by 5 more really good days. I feel almost completely back to normal. The only symptoms I've had this week are the hiccups (but way less bothersome than usual) and a bit of neck stiffness. I have not had this many good days in a row since before all this started in early August.
Does anyone think it's possible that symptoms could linger for a bit, then disappear for good? Or does it usually come back? I really want to hope for the first, but also want to be prepared if it's typical to have a good stretch like this that's only temporary. Things have definitely gotten progressively better and at the very least I am grateful for that!
Also, my PCP referred me to a neurologist for the nerve issues and that appointment is this week. I feel silly going and saying I feel fine, but also know that if I cancel the issues could start up again. Am I wasting their time if I go??
