LOLA recommendations...anyone?

The NP at the J clinic suggested I take this - actually several months ago...when I tested high for Ammonia. (not really high)

And it was mentioned again since I've been on the persister protocol...possibly because of my kidney function tests going wonky on it.


It looks like it's an expensive supplement.

Anyone taking/taken it? And which brand.

L-Ornithine, L-Aspartate blend.

I give this to my DS (28) when his ammonia is high...1 tsp 2x day for couple of weeks....works great.
I bought Allergy Research Group LOLA.

Was suggested I give it 1 week out of the month b/c his levels go high all the time, give this then comes back into range.

So, do you know it works because of lab testing....or symptoms?

I'm not able to test...so hopefully, I will feel a bit different on it.

I guess it's okay to take it even if your levels aren't high?
