Legs Very Weak

I have had lyme and coinfections for about seven and a half years and have been through a lot of treatment. I'm just posting on here because for the past 10 or eleven days I have been having extreme leg weakness which is making it hard to walk. It's mainly in my thighs, they just feel so heavy and like dead weight. I have had numbness, muscle tics and twitches, hair standing up, some muscle pain, etc in them but never have had this sensation. I went to my pcp and he gave me cymbalta for it, I don't know if that will help though. I'm not on any other medications, just a few buhner herbs but I haven't been taking them lately so it isn't herxing from that. Any feedback is appreciated, thank you.

I had wobbly twitchy legs before lyme treatment. It was like my nerves lacked control and was partially related to unstable low back issues. The unstable low back was also related to tight quad and hamstring muscles. It was a evil self feeding circle.

So how is your back?

It took a few years to get my body structurally better before , during, and after lyme ABX period.

I used a machine called Med-X for my back at a PT place. These are kind of rare, but the company had a website showing who had their machines. Some chiros and community/fitness center had them to, but hard to find and worth the drive. Company was sold so their web site changed, I need to contact them so I still have a list of places that have this machine. The other brands dont do what this does. They dont isolate certain muscles.

This was one of my last sx to improve. For me, I thought it was Bart related. Climbing stairs really brought out this sx.
