Unfortunately, I think I feel a cold brewing in me. I'm pretty good about
washing my hands a lot, no matter the time of year. I keep a spray bottle of hand sanitizer in my car and use it any time I leave a public place. I've even started wiping-down the handle of the cart at the grocery store.
I used to make fun of such people. Now, I've become one of them.
Anyway, I've been keeping weird hours, since I'm still not working. I'll stay awake for 36 or 40 hours, then go to bed and sleep for anywhere from 6 to 12 hours. Making matters worse, I'm not even consistent with that absurd schedule. So, my sleep/wake cycles are all over the map -- and, rarely coincide with the sunrise/sunset.
Even I know this is ridiculous, so we don't really have to address it. (But, if you feel compelled to make a point of it, that's fine. I did mention it, after all.)
With that introduction out of the way, does anyone have any suggestions for supplements or remedies that might shorten the duration of what feels inevitable? That is, do you have a "Go-to..." recommendation that actually works for you most or all of the time?
Of course, I understand we're all different, so what works for you may not work for me. Plus, we're all dealing with other "stuff," to put it mildly.
From Andrew W. Saul, PhD, I found the following:
"(OMNS, Sept 12, 2016) Clinical evidence confirms vitamin C's powerful antiviral/antibiotic effect against pneumonia when used in sufficient quantity.
Robert F. Cathcart, MD, successfully treated pneumonia with up to 200,000 milligrams of vitamin C daily. (1,2) One can, to a significant extent, simulate an IV of vitamin C by taking it by mouth very, very often. When I had pneumonia, it took 2,000 mg of vitamin C every six minutes to get me to saturation (bowel tolerance). In three hours, fever was reduced several degrees and coughing virtually stopped. At an oral daily dose of just over 100,000 mg, complete recovery took just a few days." Source:

http://www.doctoryourself.com/titration.htmlIn his book "Fresh Vegetable and Fruit Juices," Dr. Norman W. Walker suggests fasting from food for a couple of days and drinking only water and fruit/vegetable juices. He even gives suggestions for specific blends:
- Carrot (10 oz) + Spinach (6 oz)
- Lemon (one lemon) + Ground Horseradish (4 oz) ... Ummm, no.
- Carrot (10 oz) + Beet (3 oz) + Cucumber (3 oz)
- Carrot (8 oz) + Celery (5 oz) + Radish (3 oz)

https://bit.ly/2ewkkjuAt Whole Foods Market, there's a supplement called "Wellness Formula" that sells like crazy every year, but it's repeatedly failed to work for me.

Let the suggestions begin. Please and Thank You.
