Does anyone else have symptoms of brain pressure and short term forgetfulness? I'm wondering if this is indicative of early onset Alzheimers.

Yes I do.

Mine varies in severity - depending on what I’m taking ie abx .. etc.

I don’t think it’s early Alzheimer’s

I know others have had these symptoms and they have resolved.

Mine was bad for awhile.
When I woke up in the morning I didn’t know what day of the week it was and now I do... yay!!!

I will also echo babesia. I started babs-specific treatment a month ago and already see improvement in these two symptoms.

The physical brain pressure does not sound like Alzheimers IMO. Forgetfulness can be caused by s million Different things.

I haven’t tried it yet - but I’m going to order some - I actually tested high in Ammonia (one of the initial tests they do at the clinic )

I should already be taking it but it’s expensive !!

When my husband heard I hadn’t bought it - he scolded me -
I just feel so guilty not working and spending money we don’t have.

He said maybe drop something else - since I have a blood test showing my ammonia is high.. makes sense.
He’s probably concerned about my brain function - short term memory.

Thanks all. I'm glad I'm not the only one. Yes, the brain pressure makes me feel like I have alzheimers, yet I seem to be able to remember things. It's very strange. I've had it for at least 6 years.

I'm just hoping I can get laid off one of these days so I can go on dapsone full time. I'm hoping that will get rid of this disease.

Have you tries Sarsaparilla Root? That seems to help with my brain pressure. Japanese knotweed also helps.

I too suffer from forgetfulness but im not really concerned about Alzheimers because I had a mri last December and everything looked fine. I chalk it up to Lyme and these darn co-infections.

I will also say babesia but I want to add most of mine was caused by yeast build-up/food allergies. This is something I find myself saying quiet often. My LLMD told me that even if you are on abx for a week you need probiotics for a year-and most doctors will not tell you that because they know most people will not follow that instruction. So the abx makes the yeast build up and eventually your body gives up trying to fight it down and the yeast pokes holes in your intestines where your favorite foods will go and viola food allergies. Now I never displayed typical allergic reactions (swollen throat, rash, super itchy). However, after going cold turkey from the foods I tested positive for as well as any that fed yeast (e.g. sugar even from fruit and honey) the pressure and memory loss quickly began to improve. I literally had the memory of a gold fish and one day I even forgot who I was/where I was for about 30-40 minutes or so. I would be riding in the car on my street going home and I couldn't tell you where we were, and then I would find myself looking at an object I had used hundreds of times (e.g. screwdriver) and I couldn't tell the name of the object or how to use it. However, despite the crazy I am thankful for that period of time because it really helped me to be better at taking notes and being more organized (finally a good use for lyme-ocd hahaha).
