IGF 1 injections?

My lyme Dr wants me to try IGF 1 injections. They are fairly affordable and he said they could help a lot with inflammation and flares. Has anyone tried this?

What is the purpose? I've taken the igf1 over the counter deer antler velvet spray. Didn't notice much, but i bet injections are a much higher dosage.

Look it up! It's popular. Apparently deer antler velvet is high in IGF 1. Sean, does it boost the immune system in any way?

Some years back there was a story about Ray Lewis (NFL player) using deer antler velvet. First time I'd ever heard of the stuff, I remember thinking wtf is this ridiculousness?! after going through the lyme looking glass most things like this seem pretty innocuous now haha!

2. Deer antlers fall off every season and the velvet is harvested afterwards.

While I agree it's a troll-ish video, it truly wasn't my intent to mislead people. It was really to get a laugh from the gibberish that David Wolfe was (is always) spouting. I'd seen that video years ago and searched for it specifically.

So, I sincerely apologize.

I'll be happy to either (1) remove the URL from my posts, or (2) replace it with something more benign. Just say the word.

No problem dude. Leave it. I was referring to the video being misleading, didn't know you posted as a joke! No worries at all.

I've never really looked into David Wolfe, but he does seem a little funky just from that short clip haha. Maybe I'll look him up for my entertainment...
