Hey all got a little time today, so I thought I give an ACC update.
Stopped treating Lyme in Aug 2018 to focus on Heavy Metal detoxing using the Andy Cutler Chelation protocol. I was about
70% healed and had a reaction to a parasite protocol that lead me to suspect HM.
I made a decision a few months ago to leave all forums to focus on ACC. It's really needed at first so you don't get confused. However my head is clearer and I getting pretty well versed.. I still have my opinions on ILADS but we all need choose our own paths.
So ,, I guess you can say I’m a full fledged cult member. Not going to go into the particulars of the protocol since there’s a lot to it and it’s best not to dabble in it. You either need to go in 100% or not at all. There’s a lot of prep and learning.
Treatment Status:
Month 1: I was on the prep supplements for 1 month (all OTC) Most of these are just Vits and minerals that counteract mercury itself and to give your body what it needs. This along was almost enough to sell me on the protocol. I felt much better overall after about
2 weeks of these main supplements.
Got the all clear on Dental work in getting 2 mercury specks removed. One of which was festering in a previously in unknown cavity. I swear I felt better as soon as i stood up from the dental chair. This step is critical in you need all mercury removed prior to Chelation.
Months 2-4: Started to Chelate with DMPS and DMSA since you need to wait 3 months to use ALA.. One way to think of the D-Chelators as blood scrubbing the free roaming mercury. Did this for 12 weeks and body wise I felt like a champ . Like at times I could bench press a car.. Also cleared all my brain fog.
Month 5: Added ALA that is considered the big gun in that it crosses the BBB and Chelates mercury from your brain.. So this is where it gets tricky and why it can take several years to fully detox. Your need to go very slow. After a few rounds of trial and error I seem to have found my best dose for now. Which means I feel mostly good On round during the week and you need to stop and rest for 3 days and I feel not too bad off round.. I’m off round today and I can feel the effects of the Mercury redistributing as I type.. A little pressure headache but tolerable.
My position is even stronger now in that while I have or had Lyme, the immune suppressing that Mercury does is the cause of many of us who are chronically ill. Also Mercury symptoms and Lyme are almost identical.
Best part about
ACC is the supplements AC determined as the Core and others as needed based on your mercury symptom.. Also most of us have learned now how to properly supplement our Adrenals to address CF and crashes. I’m sleeping way better, have way more energy and while I’m far from done I’m pretty high functioning.
Last I included a link below on a woman that co-wrote AC’s updated book for a good overview. I will warn you although she provides a good overview I’m by no a means recommending you try this based this information alone. She does offer consultation and I suppose it helps people who are too brain fogged to comprehend.
The Andy Cutler Chelation Facebook site is where we all hang out and where you learn the protocol . Also it’s very important to have that lifeline since Chelating is spooky and saying the protocol overwhelming at first is a understatement.
There's so much else I could say true but many of us don;t talk about
this outside the forum. I suppose why we seem like a cult is that similar to Lyme our perspective of the world changes.. However once we start to get our minds back, it's hard to come to terms with how insidious the mercury situation is.
So it was this site that led me to Lyme and a random recommendation on this site that led me to ACC..
I’ll be forever grateful for that.
