Has anyone successfully cured tinnitus?

I haven't had much of a problem with tinnitus, but I looked up what Buhner had to say about it and posted the link. For some reason I seem to think Babesia is the main one that brings on tinnitus. Treating the infections should eventually stop it.

I do not know if Babesia is causing my tinnitus. Mine started in a very strange way, during a detox period I used modified citrus pectin, it caused a lot of heat inside ears and lot of wax. That where the rining started and never went away. I dunno, if this is an infection, or toxins lodged, or never damage.

Does anyone find out how to solve tinnitus in both ears caused by borellia burgdoferi? Doxycyline treatment of 3 weeks doesn't help. Taking 4th week does it make difference?I have heard lots of water, sleep and anxiety is formula for success. Various tensions that produce anxiety feeling is a path to trigger it off. Anyone else who share same opinion?

I had to use bee venom drops and garlic oil in my ear to get bart off the nerves ...my vertigo was related to the tinnitus. ..ooo in a carrier topically behind ears helped

My tinnitus is buzzing constantly, rheuma weaken, after 4th week of doxy my treatment ends according my doc. Will tinnitus disappear as post lyme symptom??

Girlie::: what sensation you had felt before tinnitus stopped. Is it sharp event or mild process? Describe it
I think ear drops cant help , it is neurological.

I was IgM positive for borrelia.
Also tested positive for bart.

How long have you had symptoms prior to diagnosis?
I ask because you talk about a few weeks of treatment.
For chronic Lyme it’s many months / years of treatment.

At first my tinnitus would only bother me when I stood up from sitting or laying (pulsing in my ears) OR when I laid down with ear on pillow. (Swooshing sound)

Then after a year or two - it was only the swooshing when ear on pillow.

During the Babesia treatment it slowly got better until it was gone.

Mine just gradually went away along with the "heart beat" in my ear.

Although i had cat scratch 10 month ago, and tick bite , it double odds Im negative on bartonella quintana and bartonella henselae. I dont know what to test next barbesia? My Doc things its not Barbesia

What does that statement mean?

You can’t rely on testing - as there is a high rate of false negatives.
Most LLMD’s diagnose clinically or just treat all three B’s.

I wish that I had an answer for you, all that I can say is that I have had tinnitus for atleast 5 years now (it actually started before my bite/rash) in my left ear only, it sounds like the ocean and gets worse at night when I'm watching TV. What is interesting is that when I was put on mino for 4 months after my bite rash this past fall my tinnitus completely stopped, can anyone explain this? I have had ear and vestibular testing done and my ears are fine, that is why I am wondering if I have always had Lyme or another co infection or somthing else. I do have a lot of symptoms like muscle pain, migraines, chonic fatigue and Depersonalization but every Lyme test that k get done comes back negative and I know that you can't rely on these test but I don't know what to do from here. Now that I'm off the mino my tinnitus is back. Is there any other bacteria, parasite or virus that can cause tinnitus?
