Bart relapse

I recently had a bart relapse and I couldn't be more nervous about my future.

I first started showing symptoms in July 2016 (derealization, fatigue, anxiety, eye problems, headaches and muscle twitching). I believe I had asymptomatic bartonella for years but due to long hours at work, stress, not eating well and lots of coffee my symptoms started to show. After a couple of months going around to different doctors. I stumbled upon lyme disease, found a LLMD and have been treating since. I treated my bartonella infection well during that time. In fact my LLMD said i handled treatment very well. I was in remission for a good while and was stronger than ever. I was doing so much better.

But I thought i was done, I ignored my health. I went back to drinking to much coffee, got off my SSRI and did not maintain a healthy lifestyle (lots of stress due to work).

I thought it was a flare/herx but no it was a relapse due to stress (anxiety and derealization). I was disappointed that I relapsed and mad I did not take care of myself to keep me in remission. I realize now it is not heal and then go back to lifestyle that made me sick in the first place. I learned my lesson.

I am now back at it, I tried getting on the same SSRI and the side effects were horrendous even after 12 days and am currently getting off of it, still experiencing those side effects.

I am worried I wont be able to heal again, especially not being on an SSRI.
Do people that relapse heal faster? Do I need an SSRI to heal?

I really need some encouragement.

jboy - you had band 41 show up on the lyme WB
- that is indicative of a spirochetal infection - which can be borrelia - and most likely is considering you have symptoms associated with lyme - and you got symptoms after a camping trip?

Now that doesn’t mean that you didn’t also get Bart.
It’s likely you did - as lyme rarely travels alone.
I just wanted to correct the band 41 positive on your lyme WB is not bart.
Lots of symptoms overlap between the infections,

When you treat Bartonella with abx, you also hit lyme.
You had mentioned a cyst buster - tinidazole that is for the cyst form.

My LLMD treated me for both Lyme and bartonella. I was on an SSRI the entire time.
My symptoms now are terrible agitation, anxiety and constant elevated heart rate within a couple minutes of waking up and last all day until slightly subsides in afternoon and derealization.
That is all my major symptoms. The terrible agitation and anxiety with constant elevated heart rate got worse on the SSRI. It was dangerous so my LLMD told me to stop.

I just stopped drinking coffee when getting on SSRI?
Could this be adrenal fatigue?

it can be adrenal or thyroid. Lyme messes with both of those. If you treat the culprit all of those symptoms will go away. Check with a cardiologist to make sure its not a heart problem but it probably isnt.

I treated with mino, azithromycin and mycobutin and pulsed tinizadole during the end of my treatment with bolouke. I used lots of herbs (Sida, Crytoplus, LB protocal) Binders: chlorella, activated charcoal.
And during treatment I detoxed a lot, my favorite was the infrared sauna and lemon water.

When i relapsed/flare I was on LB protocal, 9 pills a day, tumeric, ginkgo bilboa, TF immune support, vitamin B,C and D and lemon oil.

I just had bloodwork done and my LLMD said it looked good, my CD 57 was the highest it had ever been.
I have not had my adernals tested but my thyroid is good.

Since starting and subsequently finishing the SSRI (only lasted 12 days) I wake up each day with my heart pounding, it will be 112 to 120 bpm and as the day goes on it will go down. Before bed it will be 78 bpm.

I have no idea why, maybe an interaction between the herbs I was on and the SSRI.
