-26 months post lyme ABX pain/healing update-
Went out snow / fat tire riding two times last weekend, about
5 and 8 miles of woods trail. Have not gone that far this winter on wheels, only snow-shoe-ed due to unusual snow depth and bitter cold. So I figured I'd be pretty sore after two days in a row. Days after in the morning-Stretched a little in bed and to my surprise, got right out walking pretty normal.
I would normally have had some degree of a "slow leg", sore left hip / low back (last 10-15 years) the morning after riding. Back In summer 2015, I could not ride more than 1 block without major muscle tension. Slowly got better, but this latest "post ride" improvement surprised me.
I even went over the bars blowing the corner on a down hill (cushy snow dive and missed the trees!). Shoulder and neck was a little stiff Monday, fine today. Unusual quick recovery, so I went to the gym to beat myself up more.
Currently working on my left foot and IT band which is finally improving. It tightens from a chain reaction of a tight hamstring attachment tendon behind the knee. Tough area to work on access-wise. Sciatic nerve branches off to the tibial nerve (foot arch nerve) behind the knee- seems like that is the issue. Took forever to find it as "refereed pain" is hard to find the root cause area, since its not where you feel it.
I just want a time machine to go re-live all those years with energy and normal muscle recovery.

This is fantastic - so happy for your progress after the journey you've been on. And it provides hope for everyone else who hope to one day return to "normal" life.
