Oh - I thought you were specifically saying you didn't want the 'bioidentical' hormones - but you'd take other ones. (non-bioidentical hormones)
You're questioning doing hormonal treatment instead of Lyme treatment.
I did try the bioidentical hormones - I took the Estrogel and prometrium. (When lyme 'hit' me, my estrogen tanked and my periods stopped....it put me into menopause)
The hormones didn't help. In fact...after taking them, that is when I started getting the horrible symptom of vibrations in my torso area.
Are you seeing a LLMD? or is this your regular Dr. suggesting the hormone treatment?
I would definitely treat lyme.....whether or not you treat the hormones. You do have a positive lyme test.
The hormones may help you...but they aren't going to treat the lyme disease....
