So, are you going to take them for 4 weeks, then how many days/weeks off before you go back on?
Or are you stopping after the 4 weeks?
If so, that's not really pulsing. Pulsing is on and off and on and off.
Or...are you waiting for symptoms to return...and then take them for 4 weeks again?
Or are you just referring to the Flagyl when you mean pulsing?
Well, pulsing here is probably not the word. My idea is to have a course of abx for 4 weeks while pulsing Flagyl.
After this course I wanted to stop for a few months (3 or 4) to see how it goes and in any case go into another course.

4 weeks is definitely enough to pulse. The JSC in WA DC does 2 week pulses, of which 10 days during those 2 weeks you are on abx, then 2 weeks off, repeat. They also do 1 week pulses every month and once you get on to a maintenance protocol 3-4 days per month.
Well this is interesting. This is less of a burden for the body. Yet if it is true than the reproduction cycle for Borrelia and Bartonella is one month long may be you are not hitting the bugs at the right time.
In any case, my thinking is that a course of abx being longer or shorter is better than nothing. You agree on that, don't you?
Thanks!
