Hey everyone, so I’ve been taking binders for my doctors mold protocol now for about 3 weeks & today I’ve had a weird feeling in my throat when I swallow food.

It’s like when I swallow I can feel the food going down my throat. It’s a full feeling in my throat and it’s kinda uncomfortable. I googled it just how I explained it and seen stuff coming up saying gerd? Never heard of it. What do you all think

Are you taking cholestyramine?

GERD is reflux. I’m pretty sure that can be a side effect of cholestyramine. It can also be a symptom of mold, bartonella, and probably more. If it’s from the meds, it will likely be temporary after your body adjusts to it.

When I first got symptoms - in 2013, when I swallowed food it felt like it was scratching my throat all the way down .
I also had the sensation of a lump in my throat at times.
And occasionally I would choke on my food.

I did a barium (ugh) swallow X-ray and it showed nothing wrong.

Then I went to an ENT Doc and he put a camera thru my nose down my throat and I had to eat a piece of cracker and swallow while it was filmed. He also checked for irritation of vocal cords.

Everything was fine.

Then it resolved over time.
And I was disgnosed with Lyme disease awhile after.

I think I’m my case it was nerve issues ( from lyme) and possibly GERD as well. (Also from lyme)

mine happened when i was as full it was a hiatal hernia. drinking water and jumping actually helps til inflammation reduced
