hard lymph nodes

Hi everyone,

Today I saw a GP regarding my swollen lymph nodes (again). They are swollen on and off, exception being those below my ears, especially on the right side, which are swollen pretty much all the time.
The problem is, when I press on the lymph node below my right ear, it is rock hard. It is as hard as a bone, so the doctor said at first this was my bone - I said then why is it so much bigger than the one on the left side?
Then she kind of got worried, because I have 'something' there that is that hard, and she'll send me to a specialist just to check "it's not anything sinister". She claims it's not a lymph node because even when swollen they are soft and movable. It's also painful, which is I guess a good sign, as "sinister" things often are not.
I also have sensitivity and pain in my armpits which I didn't have in a while, and my ovaries feel like stones.

Now I am back home, and although I've had this for ages, already had one ultrasound (a year ago, I am not sure if at the time they weren't swollen or the doctor just missed them, as I remember she was more focused on my neck), my day is ruined, I am back at being lost and desperate, and will just be anxious in the upcoming weeks until my scan.
I googled a little, and found that lymph nodes can be calcified, due to an ongoing inflammation.
Does anybody knows anything about this, has anybody had similar problems? I am not sure this can resolve.

Also, I know that swollen lymph nodes are due to infection, but am very curious if mold toxicity can also cause this symptom?

I have a calcified lymph node under my right ear.
It has not gotten any bigger or smaller for the 4 years I have noticed it.

Have you felt for it when you’re flaring?
(If you do have flares)

I thought maybe I had Hodgkins (or was it non hodgkins ) Disease for several months.

Oh the trauma we have suffered while undiagnosed!!!!

Okay, mine are in different place - below the collarbone. I just found this picture. https://www.medicinenet.com/swollen_lymph_nodes/article.htm#what_are_lymph_nodes_what_do_they_do. Sounds like yours was the supraclavicular nodes. Mine was in the subclavian area.

I think my GP thought it was muscle pain like fibromyalgia or something. He didn’t seem to think there were lymph nodes in that area, if I remember right.

I pressed down on the supraclavicular area and could feel the nodes. I jumped when I felt them. I don’t know if it’s normal to flinch when they’re pressed or not. Both sides I jumped.

These calcified lymph nodes, do they pose any risk? When I google it all kinds of things come up, I am afraid to read.

I used to take both A-BAB and A-BART but I never experienced any major herx, was able to increase the dose very quickly, which is strange because people usually have to go really slow. I still have like 2 bottles of A-BART and will try taking it again to see if I react. In the beginning my llnd only discussed with me lyme, babs and bart, and for a very long time I believed my main problem was bart, but I finally figured out it was mold. Bart and mold really do have many similar symptoms.

My maternal grand-father died from non-hodgkin lymphoma, in his old age. I listened to dr H the other day, he says european lyme can mimic non-hodgkin's among other things...

I get soreness in my armpits and groin occasionally too.

Girlie, your clavical lymph node, was it really hard, like bone?

I do respond strongly to herbs. I’ve never done Byron White as I feared it - only Buhner’s protocols. I agree 100% about bart and mold. I treated bart for a year before I finally came to the conclusion that mold was my primary problem. Even symptoms that went away after much treatment have returned after recent mold exposures (finger stiffness). I believe there is strong overlap with bart and mold. They seem to affect the same pathways. Herbs help but only so much when you can’t get away from the mold.
