I just came across a headache post and thought this was worth mentioning.
Over the past year, my headaches were becoming more frequent to the point that I was concerned because I was close to maxing out on the number of Imitrex I could take per month. All the time, I was assuming hormones or babesia or parasites were the cause. I am peri-menopausal and was using Mimosa pudica and experimenting with anti-parasitic herbs and have ropeworm. All logical assumptions.
Five weeks ago, I started sleeping in my car and only going in the house with a suit and mask after discovering (and severely reacting to) mold in the relative’s house that I have been living in. I have had ZERO headaches since getting out of that house, and I am still taking Mimosa pudica and passing ropeworms.
After getting my MycoTox results back, I had super high levels of zearalenone from Fusarium mold. Zearalenone is noted for affecting the estrogen. Also very high gliotoxin from aspergillus. So, the mold exposure was affecting hormones and causing immune suppression, glutathione depletion, and much more.
I have been dealing with significant MCAS symptoms since getting out of that house. Headaches are in the symptom lists I have seen for MCAS, but I have not had a one in the past 5 weeks.
I have had very slight head pressure on 2 occasions after increasing my drops of Sida acuta and black seed oil. Even the addition of Fluconazole has not caused any headaches or sickness, at least not yet.
I keep records of when I take Imitrex. I had not been a month without headaches since August 2017.
If you have noticed an increase in headaches, you might want to consider mold as a cause.
