Hey guys. Cornell university, have recently developed a means of testing for active infection of lyme disease. It involves testing for the OspA protein that I'm sure some of you are already familiar with. Essentially, no more faffing about
with antibodies and a quite frankly **** tests and solid proof of the bacteria. The tests can also differentiate between old and new infections too.
https://news.cornell.edu/stories/2019/09/rapid-lyme-disease-test-may-be-available-late-2020I believe next year will be the year for Lyme disease and all the poor sods like us, children, the elderly will be vindicated. Just imagine the breakthrough that this will be for medicine? No more misdiagnosed MS, ALS, Fibro, Crohns, etc More research into autoimmune diseases will be done and more. Anyway, I'm feeling a bit more upbeat so I thought I'd share with you guys. Take care.
