In the recesses of my memory, I seem to recall that folks with babesia are the ones who have trouble with heat. I also recall that Buhner did not advise using red root if babesia was present because it is a coagulant. That makes me think the heat does something to the blood flow and the causes worse head symptoms due to babesia’s affect on blood flow. Something like that. Many with POTS can’t tolerate heat.
That kind of makes sense. I have no tolerance of heat or humidity at all.
Showering is not as bad as bathing, but it's a horrible experience for me. My neuro symptoms are so bad it feels like the water is running up my body instead of down it!
I'm beginning to think that Babesia is the infection causing me the most problems as well.We seem to have a lot of the same symptoms Jova. I do terrible with showers and heat as well. Dr Nathan recently told me he thought babesia was my worst infection. Dr. Liegner said disulfiram “ worked way way better” than other babesia protocols for some of the his patients so maybe between disulfiram hitting that and then Lyme persisters is why disulfiram seems to be working so well for me so far. Ill keep you updated
