What does this mean

Unless you have an obvious reason and know WHY you feel depressed at work - you hate your job, you want to be a stay-at-home mom/dad, or something identifiable, you should suspect mold exposure as a real possibility.

Toxin producing mold can cause depression and a host of other things. People with Lyme have hypervigilant and dysfunctional immune systems. The invisible matters in the environment (fungi, bacteria, viruses, toxins, VOCs, etc) can affect the body and the immune system, resulting in symptoms and hidden inflammation.

Didn’t mention I’m doing the Cowden Protocol and im on day 12.

I’ve noticed a little bit of these emotional episodes at work before but nothing to this magnitude which is what leaves me wondering if it’s a bartonella herx or something.

I’m scared that’s a possibility. What am I suppose to do? I live in Kentucky and jobs are hard to find around here. I want to get better and still provide for my family as I’m the main source of income. Do I need to test my work

The gold standard of mold testing from a CIRS perspective is the ERMI or the abbreviated version, the HERTSMI-2. You can learn more abilities it on the Surviving Mold and Biotoxin Journey websites. Mycometrics is the name of the lab.

Before spending money on a test, check out the obvious. Is there a musty smell anywhere in the building? Is there visible mold? Is there evidence of past or current water damage or leaks? Look for brown stains on the ceiling, peeling wallpaper, wet areas around plumbing, black specks or stained areas around AC vents, rusty AC vents (indicates excessive condensation). Does the building have a basement? From what I have read, most basements (especially finished ones) have mold issues.

I’ve followed the protocol as it says. Increasing every dose by a drop. I’m not having any obvious herxing symptoms I’m just getting overly depressed and kinda having suicidal thoughts while I’m at work. Kinda stressed out just because the possibility of the mold situation which I’m sure isn’t helping. Just such a let down because I felt like I was noticing some kind of improvement until my work week started back.

When are your next 4 days off? I would write down your observations of how you feel each day and see if there is really a pattern of feeling depression and suicidal thoughts when you return to work. Make a note of any other changes you notice.

When I am herxing from treatment or having a flare, my mold and chemical sensitivities increase. When I feel relief from symptoms, I often don’t feel as reactive in buildings.
