My mom has lyme disease and in the last two months has an oily sheen on her urine. Has anyone else had this? She has Babesia, bartonella, Q fever and anaplasmosis. She is receiving treatment now. Thanks

This may be a ridiculous question but can biofilm ever be seen?

I noticed when herxing I would get slightly opaque urine (but not oily). I don't know if it was from the biofilm or other parts of the bacteria.

Yes, I have noticed something that looks like an oily film sort of frequently. And sometimes kind of cloudy urine, sometimes smelly, etc. Makes me wonder sometimes but I've almost quit caring.

FWIW I'm not very well diagnosed as to coinfections or anything.

I thought biofilms were too small - ie microscopic - same as the spirochetes - need a microscope to see them.
