So the recent repost of the link between lyme arthritis and calcification and my ongoing tendon and knee problems (despite my best efforts at home) have me finally deciding to seek out ultrasound treatment in the city.
Despite the 9 hour round trip. Where I live is great until you’re sick... and then it’s not. On the upside I might be able to squeeze the sauna in to that day trip so all is not lost.
Anyone have success with ultrasound treatments on tendonosis? How often and how long did you go for? Are home units worth anything at all?
A couple years ago while treating bart first time around - I woke up with an excruciating painful right shoulder. (The front of my shoulder - not the top)
Couldn’t even raise my arm.
Saw my Dr - she gave me a topical pain cream and said it was tendinopathy... and suggested I talk to my physio.
My physio did the ultrasound on it twice a week.
It slowly got better over time.
First few days were horrible.
I think it was a few weeks before it was completely better.
Chalked it up to lyme and co’s since I did nothing to cause it.
