Hello,
I'm on my first round of doxy 400mg - though since found out from this forum and another book minocycline is the next gen doxy and better to take.
I've got herbs ordered buhners p and diet underway but I need to make a plan for the anti-b's as docs in the uk are useless. is there a comparable book for anti b's?
I got the tick bite end of July so thinking it could be 6 months of anti b at least now. till symptoms are gone.
but I am looking for the info on what to take when.
from one book Julia Greenspan - rising above Lyme disease it suggests
spiral form - most susceptible to tetracycline meds
l form - treatable with cephalosporins and penicillins
cycst form - flatly, tindamaz or alinia
but no further info on a programme and any advice/ comments/ book suggests would be appreciated. if I could find a recommended 6 month programme - do I also need to keep getting tested along the way?
pretty new to this so steep learning curve appreciate any feedback
thank you
Hi I am also from the uk but live in Spain now. I have found getting doctors to believe/understand you to be equally bad in both countries.
I have had decent results with 18 months of mino and plaquenil but this only got me maybe 75% better. I have found burners protocol to help massively in clearing up the remaining symptoms and feel I am slowly getting there.
Additional testing is costly and not very useful unless it picks up something other tests have missed. I am not an expert with this just letting you know what has worked over the past couple of years for me.
Good luck!thank you. I am going to do the buhners protocol. book just arrived. debating on the antibiotics.... and what to take. whether to wing it.... It all just feels a bit trial and error anyway that's all we can do - figure out what works and doesn't. ... Germany reportedly has much better understanding.
