Advice Minocycline Side Effects?

Hi folks, checking in after a two mos. break. from Healingwell. Hoping everyone is as stable as possible. After Xmas I thought I'd gotten better but wasn't the case.

I am now really nearing the end of my 10 mos. flare with Minocycline, but 48 hours into the drug & I've developed moderate to severe dizziness, head pressure and a visual disturbance or two. The head pressure is only slightly bothersome but know this can lead to fluid buildup in the cranium from pseudotumor cerebri.

The side effects are serious enough for me not to take my night dose. This doesn't bode well for me making progress as I had noticed yesterday & today. But im displaying signs of it's worst side effect. Any advice? This is really making a difference on lingering neuropathy. Thanks!

I experienced head pressure on initially taking minocycline on dose increase from 100mg to 200mg daily.

Taking minocycline with loratadine (Claritin) or benadryl made the head pressure tolerable/gone.

The concern with minocycline would be cerebral hypertension, I don't know how to differentiate normal reaction from something more serious.

I found minocycline to be very useful, it stabilized my extreme vision loss events.
