Conflicting Armin and Igenex tests

Hi,

Has anyone had conflicting Armin and Igenex tests?

Three years ago had two very positive IGM WB Igenex tests. My igg comeback negative.

A few months ago had an Armin elispot and tickplex tests. The elispot for borrelia and bartonella both came back negative but the tickplex came back positive for IGM antibodies but negative for igg antibodies (just like the Igenex test).

A couple of weeks ago had a Igenex bartonella test and babesia FISH test. Babesia came back positive.

I also had another Armin test last week (as about to see a new specialist who wanted them done) but borrellia, bartonella, and babesia elispot all came back negative.

I am worried the new specialist I see won’t want to treat me now and have waited three years to get in to see him.

Has anyone one else had conflicting test results and had all the symptoms but had a negative elispot? And does anyone know how accurate the babesia FISH test is?

My previous LLND and current LLMD don’t want tests repeated - they aren’t accurate enough to gauge progress.

Too many false negatives.

As saraeli stayed many rely on a healthy immune system which is usually suppressed with these infections.
Others rely on detecting the DNA of the bacteria which kind be like finding a needle in a haystack.

Girlie I think we had the same llnd but like you, I have plateaued and have started seeing a new llnd in vancouver and I am finally getting in to see the specialist in Alberta (3 yr waitlist). I am just so worried that he will look at my armin tests and not want to treat. I have put so much hope into this apt that I will be devastated if it doesn’t got well. If it doesn’t go well I will be seeing about Dr J.
