I was at 500mg at the end per day and reached remission.

I really do not recommend 500mg it is to harsh on the body. The new protocol on disulfiram.net recommends 375mg

Most of the killing happens at 125mg and 250mg. Thats where you want to be. 500mg for me did nothing but cause a bunch of drug issues. Kill as much as you can between the 125mg and 250mg, I recommend 3 weeks and then 4 weeks respectively, perhaps 6.

Patience with treatment has never been my strong point in this 10 year Lyme battle. I had to increase my DSF up to 500 mg just to see if it was working and I've been beaten up a bit for a week so far. Sleep is terrible and crashing by 8am and awake again at midnight not able to sleep again until time to go to work at 5am since setting clocks ahead last Sunday. Many of my old stiffness, pains and neuro sx are returning almost like my first major relapse back in 2005. No use in backing off now, so time to cowboy up and push through this herx like before.

I also applied for Medicare A and B last week to start in June, now got to get Part D and other things covered next on my own $. Looks to be a lot cheaper than what I've been paying for ObamaCare.

Ramped up to 375 mg on 2/26, then a few attempts at 437mg around 3/4. First tried 500mg on 3/6 but felt like crap next day and skipped my am 250mg dose for a day. Then back to 500mg again on 3/8 and since.

This past week's full moon has also contributed to sx flare as well. I'll drop back to 375mg if it gets much tougher. Just called my LLMB to give her the news and try to squeeze in some blood work before next appointment on 4/4.

No need to be a hero, but no pain, no gain is my motto.

I’m on month 2 of treatment, currently at 62.5mg a day. No good results yet, just extremely fatigued. Plus all my usual Lyme symptoms. Wondering when I’ll start to notice good effects if it’s going to work for me.

I will be going up in dosage, I was on 31.25 every other day for 2 weeks, then 2weeks at daily, now my current dose for 4 weeks, I’m sure I’ll double it for the 4 weeks after that.

I ended up starting April 5th.

I have been on 500mg daily since.

So far it's going as expected.

Day 97. My LLMD started me @ 25mg once a week. increases are every 2 weeks. (It's a painfully slow process). I'm at 100mg-twice a day. Had herx'es @ 25mg starting out, 50mg twice a day, a big herx when we changed from 4X 25mg tablets twice a day to 100mg tablets once a day. Also, had a day of not feeling well- mostly fatigue when I went to 100mg twice a day. I noticed discomfort if I I do any work. Sleep: I'm all about that!! Been 1 month since had any symptoms. I do have weird dreams. They are always aggravated/frustrating. Memory getting better everyday. See my LLMD May 5. Possibly come off 250mg Clarithromycin then. Also on Dr. Rawls Vital Plan (1/2 rate to kick start immune system).

Any updates on Diflucan refill availability here in the states. CVS, Walgreen and Walmart are all out of stock with no warehouse back fill dates.

Hopkington Drug can compound for me at $108 per month. But that's out of network for a Tier 2 generic Rx.

Did anybody from here ever reach remission using DSF?

I was really encouraged by my first attempt with DSF. However, It became too intense and I had to quit after some time. Still, I've been taking it off and on since last summer. Probably my best period was over the holidays when I was on 125mg every other day and alternated with 125mg a day week by week. I had combined that with Doxy and Rifampin to address Bart (which seems to be a big issue for me symptomatically). I was actually able to travel to my wife's mom's house for Xmas for a 5 day trip. I hadn't been able to do that for years. It was still precarious living. I've been sick long enough to know I live day by day in a fragile state. I always feel on the edge of collapse even when I'm in a period of feeling somewhat better. It was nice to enjoy the holidays as a somewhat normal person nonetheless.

I increased my dose to 250mg a day since around February while remaining on Bart specific Abx. I have been absolutely miserable besides periods that last 1-3 days in which I don't feel quite as bad.

I have been treating with Abx, herbs, DSF for over 4 years now. I still fell like I "herx" so much. Is it possible to herx so much after all this time? Are my symptoms really due to continuing killing and flaring of the bacteria? Sometimes I think I am going crazy. The uncertainty is the worse. I'm going to give the DSF/Abx combo one last intense go. I'll try to build the DSF dose to somewhere around 400mg and hold there for a bit and see what happens.

Hey its been 90 days since I stopped Disulfiram and I am still in remission, no sign of lyme. I feel great. But I had some herx continue when I stopped for 4-6 weeks, and also I got the flu so I might be confused. But yeah disulfiram worked. SSRI-like withdrawal lasted almost 2 1/2 months and I had to go on thyroid medicine.
