Hi. Hope you are faring well under the layers of circumstances...

Breathlessness, fatigue, and now rash?

The rash looks like a spread out bunch of tiny bruises. Under the skin. Like I got hit by a basketball on the leg but spread far beyond the circumfrance of the ball.

Anyone have babesia rash?

I'm not an expert on the topic but I believe rashes indicate bartonella? Hopefully someone else will chime in with more info here

Bruises are associated with one of the coinfections. I’m thinking it’s babesia but not positive. Anemia can also occur.

Babesia infects red blood cells.

Skin manifestations of babesiosis are rare and difficult to separate out from those of Lyme disease. Co-infection with Babesia may alter the skin manifestations of Lyme disease.
No consistent skin manifestation of babesiosis has been found.
Rash has been identified as the presenting symptom in around 12% of patients hospitalised with babesiosis.
Petechiae (small red or purple spots due to bleeding into the skin) and bruises may occur, most likely due to thrombocytopenia (low platelets, which causes abnormal blood clotting).

Any chance you are on blood-thinning supplements? Lots of Buhner protocol herbs thin the blood, and I developed some crazy bruising from an unknown source while I was taking the core protocol. Went away fast when I stopped. I'm on things that thin the blood still (curcumin, etc.) but they do not seem to have the same effect.

Have you looked into livedo reticularis? (Small blood clots) I think it is from Bartonella, not sure though.

Over the years treating Babs I use to get what I called spontaneous bruising on my thighs, torso and arms on a random basis. Over time this changed to a more redish-brown blood rash very close to the skin surface mostly occurring only on forearms, and the bruising marks diminished in frequency then went away for a long time.

I agree that some of Buhner core herbs may contribute to both of these types of skin rashes. Some heart meds may also be contributing to blood thinning indications. Check out a Maryland lyme web site for their
photos of Lyme related skin rashes. I'll ty to dig up a link.
